Take FL-874 (Don Shula) north and connect to FL-826 (Palmetto), which drops you straight into Doral. It's 11.8 miles and about 15 minutes in normal traffic; the route carries a toll.

If you'd rather skip the 874, FL-826 on its own is 12.9 miles and about 19 minutes. Four minutes apart, so either works.

One detail that surprises people: Kendall is a **faster** drive than Brickell, even though the distance is nearly identical. The reason is simple: this trip is mostly expressway and that one is city traffic.
