What is a permanent makeup touch-up?
Permanent makeup is semi-permanent: the pigment fades gradually and skin changes with time, sun and aftercare. The touch-up is the maintenance session that helps refresh the colour and redefine the design, without starting over.
Not all touch-ups are the same, which is why pricing goes by how much time has passed. At 45 days it is an adjustment to freshly healed work. Between 6 and 12 months the design is still there but softer. After one or two years there is usually little pigment left and the work comes closer to a new session. Results vary from person to person.
Who is it for?
For anyone who already has brow or lip permanent makeup and notices the colour softer, the shape less defined, or the tone shifted over time.
We also work on pieces done at another studio, but there the evaluation is essential: depending on the state of the previous pigment, the right step may be a touch-up, a correction or a prior removal. The practitioner decides after reviewing your case.
What is the appointment like, step by step?
The appointment starts by reviewing how the pigment behaved: how much is left, what tone it took and how the shape is holding. From there the necessary work is defined and the design adjusted with you.
Brow touch-ups use topical numbing, so the visit carries around 30 extra minutes of preparation on top of the working time. Lip touch-ups run as a longer session.
A $50 deposit is required to hold appointments over $100, and it goes toward your service. You can move or cancel with at least 48 hours' notice; inside that window the deposit is non-refundable.

Prices are shown as a starting point: the exact amount depends on your evaluation and on the specialist performing the treatment. Which tier applies is confirmed at your evaluation, based on the real state of your pigment and not only on the date.
Who performs the touch-up?
Touch-ups are performed by the MOSS team of PMU artists, trained by Maryge Olaves, APRN and Master in Micropigmentation. Working over existing pigment means reading how the skin healed and how the colour shifted, which is why nothing is touched before it is reviewed. When you book, we assign the specialist available for your date; the final amount is confirmed at your evaluation.
