Botulinum toxin (Botox®) in Doral, FL
Botulinum toxin is an injectable that helps soften the appearance of expression lines. At MOSS Medical Spa (Doral, FL) it is applied by Maryge Olaves, APRN and master injector, and it is priced per unit, at $9.99 per unit. How many units you need is determined at your evaluation, which is free.
What is botulinum toxin?
It is an injectable that helps soften the appearance of expression lines (glabella, forehead, around the eyes) by temporarily relaxing the muscle that creases them. It does not fill or add volume: that is a different treatment. Results vary from person to person.
Botox® is a registered trademark; the generic name of the treatment is botulinum toxin. At MOSS we work with five active brands (Botox®, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify and Letybo) and which one is used in your case is decided by the practitioner on clinical grounds, not from a price list. Neither our agents nor this site recommend a brand.
Who is it for?
For adults who want to soften expression lines while keeping a natural result, without a stiff-looking face. It is what our clients mention most in their Google reviews.
It requires an evaluation. A prior consultation, free and about 15 minutes long, determines whether the treatment is right for you, which areas make sense to treat and how many units would be needed. If you have a health condition, take any medication, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, mention it: the practitioner assesses each case, never a chat.
What is the appointment like, step by step?
The application itself is short: about 15 minutes. Beforehand, the areas are reviewed with you and the unit plan is defined.
Topical numbing is optional: your call. If you want it, add about 10 minutes of waiting to the visit.
After the application, a follow-up appointment is booked to review how your case responded. And one piece of clinical judgement worth knowing: between one application and the next it is best to allow **at least 4 months**. We do not rebook sooner than that without an evaluation first.
A $50 deposit is required to hold appointments over $100, and it goes toward your service. The change policy is 48 hours.
How much does Botox® cost in Doral?
It is priced **per unit, at $9.99 per unit**, not per session and not per area. That means there is no total price we can publish in advance: two people with the same concern may need very different amounts, from very few units to around two hundred.
How many you need is determined at your evaluation, which is free and takes about 15 minutes. That is where you get a concrete estimate for your case, before you decide anything. Pricing per unit is also what prevents more units being used than needed just to reach a round number.
We work with CareCredit, Cherry, Afterpay and Affirm if you'd rather pay in instalments.
Who applies the botulinum toxin?
It is applied by Maryge Olaves, an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner), board certified in aesthetics by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and a master injector, with 8 years devoted to aesthetics. With injectables we do not delegate: she evaluates and she applies. That clinical training is why judgement comes before the catalogue: there are cases where the answer from the evaluation is that this treatment is not the right one.
